history
Destiny Family Services
was originally founded in 2002 as the Sons and Daughters
with Destiny. It is a faith-based non-profit organization
and was founded to empower individuals to reach their
fullest potential and pursue their purpose and god-given
destiny. As the result, our organization was started with
two (2) major events: The “Inner Healing for the Tender
Soul” conference at the Double Tree Guest Suites in Atlanta,
Georgia and the “Health, Wellness and Community Empowerment
Day where we partnered with over 20 for profit and
non-profit organizations to provide informational sessions,
health symposiums and entertainment to the Mall West End
Community.
This organization continues to reach out to men, women,
children and families and is providing guidance, opportunity
and direction via three (3) projects:
-
The Women of Elegance Self Esteem and Career Training
Program
-
Sons and Daughters with Destiny Youth Academy
-
The Health, Wellness and Educational Summit
Through these three initiatives, many lives will be touched,
re-directed and changed.
Destiny Family Services won the 2007 Hosea Williams
Community Activism Award and the 2007 Zeta Phi Beta & Phi
Beta Sigma’s Dove Award.
